Debra Davis is an attorney practicing in the Metropolitan area for over 14 years. She has offices in Waldorf and Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Debra Davis has been a community activist for over twenty years. She is a trained litigator who also volunteers her time as a court mediator. Davis has held numerous positions of leadership at the State and local levels.
In 2009, Davis was selected to participate in a nine-month leadership program comprised of outstanding leaders from Charles, St. Mary's and Calvert Counties. This group explored challenges and opportunities in areas such as health care, education and tourism as they apply to our individual counties and the Southern Maryland region as a whole.
Debra Davis, who was raised in Upper Marlboro, MD has ancestral ties to Charles County dating back to the 1800s. She and her husband of over twenty years, Christopher, reside in Rison, Maryland on land, which was purchased by her great-great grandfather.
They are the parents of two daughters. Both are graduates from Henry E. Lackey High School, where Davis and her husband currently volunteer. Mr. Davis is an assistant varsity coach of the girl’s basketball team.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree for the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Law degree from the University of Baltimore.
Debra Davis’ sense of social and community responsibility spans over a twenty year period. Her path of community leadership is well paved with community activism and leadership roles.
